With 18 years of experience in both online and face-to-face teaching, I have always been dedicated to integrating the latest EdTech innovations into my lesson designs. This journey has now culminated in earning the esteemed qualification of Digital Learning Designer from the Digital Learning Institute. My career has been shaped by a commitment to creating engaging, effective, and modern learning environments, reflecting my passion for continuous improvement and technological advancement in education.

Why I love Learning Design
Learning design captivates me because it merges creativity with functionality, allowing educators to craft experiences that truly resonate with learners. I relish the challenge of designing educational experiences that are not only pedagogically sound but also technologically innovative. It’s incredibly rewarding to see learners engage deeply and achieve their goals through thoughtfully designed content.
My current role as Digital Learner Designer at Linguaphone France includes:
- Lead Designer for Pitchboy AI learning assistants
- Trainer in AI for teaching workshops
- Researcher of AI tools, best practices, impact and implementation
- Project Manager/ Team Leader for content development
I am also focused on preparing a migration process to a new Learning Management System (LMS). This transition is an exciting opportunity to refine and enhance the digital learning environment, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of both educators and learners.

Learning Design Qualification
This diploma course was an absolute joy for me to do and covered every aspect of modern learning design including: digital learning fundamentals, design principles, LX design, multimedia eLearning design, virtual classroom design, video based learning, microlearning, social and immersive learning, rollout & learning platforms, evaluation and learning analytics and AI-based learning.
Specialist Certificate in AI for Learning
This course integrates cutting-edge AI technologies into learning design, assessment, and delivery.
Using the ADDIE model it details Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating with AI. My project assignment and subsequent extensive report for Linguaphone assess the impact that AI is having in education and develops a roadmap for how to implement AI into learning design and the company.

Continuous Professional Development Roadmap
It’s an exciting time to be a learning designer and I am the first to admit that there is a lot more to learn. For 2024/ 2025 I am enrolled in the DLI’s CDP program which gives me access to practical toolkits, ebooks and I regularly attend industry webinars, tool workshops, and community meetups.
I recently completed highly useful micro-credentials in Project Management for Digital Learning and EdTech for Classroom Engagement as well as completing a course on Data Driven Learning Design on LinkedIn Learning.
