5The experience
We design how one course flows, test it, then repeat that design across the programme so learners always know where they are.
You bringYour constraints: time per session, devices, live teaching or self-paced.
You leave withA course design: what the learner sees, does and is told, and in what order.
In the StudioBecomes a template, built in the Workshop from tested elements in three phases: introduction, practice, review. The principles below are built into the template and its elements, so every course inherits them.
What AI does hereAI writes the first draft of every course inside the template, in each language. A person reviews every one.
- Scaffolding support is given, then removed. Each exercise steps up in rungs.
- Retrieval and spacing we forget what we do not recall, so every course ends with recall.
- Gagné’s events of instruction gain attention, state the outcome, present, guide, practise, feed back, assess.
- Multimedia principles one idea at a time, words with pictures, nothing decorative.
Worked example · a general language curriculumFour templates cover all 272 courses. Each course takes 6 to 16 minutes and always ends with a review that makes the learner recall.
